Chris Ferguson entered his first World Series of Poker in 1995 and got his first bracelets at the 2000 WSOP. He beat T. J. Cloutier at the main event, winning the $1.5 million prize. In 2004, Ferguson helped launch the online poker site Full Tilt Poker.

In his career he has won five World Series of Poker bracelets and was the winner of the 2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. As of 2004, he had the most cashes ever in a single year at the WSOP.

Since Chris is both a mathematician and computer scientist with a photographic memory, his style is highly mathematical. He uses game theory and develops computer simulations to improve his understanding of the game.
